Miami-based JAXI Builders Inc., which plans to build a high-rise condominium in downtown Fort Myers, is among the top 25 homebuilders in Southeast Florida.
South Florida Business Journal compiled the list based on real estate data provider MetroStudy.
Jaxi bought the old Cypress Club two-tower high-rise site in downtown Fort Myers in April for $4,675,000 and announced plans to start building a luxury condominium there in 2017.
If that happens, Jaxi will be the first builder to start a downtown high-rise in the last nine years.
Cypress Club started construction in 2006.
